Discovering the Universe Within: My Journey into Meditation

I began meditating at the age of 13, carving out a peaceful ten minutes each evening to sit quietly and explore my inner world. At 15, my meditation practice took a profound turn, leading to an experience that transformed my understanding of life and the universe.

One evening, I decided to try a different approach. Instead of my usual routine, I focused on expanding my consciousness. First, I became acutely aware of my body—feeling the subtle sensations, the rhythm of my breath, and the beat of my heart. Then, I extended my awareness to the people in my household, imagining their presence and energy. From there, I visualized my neighborhood, my town, my state, and my country, gradually expanding outward to encompass the entire planet.

As I continued, I felt my consciousness reaching out to the solar system, then the galaxy, and even the entire universe. Suddenly, the experience shifted. What began as a controlled exercise became an exhilarating ride. I was no longer expanding my awareness; instead, I felt as though I was being carried by a powerful current, taking me to a place where I was completely at one with everything in the universe.

For a few fleeting seconds, I experienced a profound sense of unity. Every planet, every being, every rock, every star, and every galaxy—everything was alive with a life force. This realization struck me deeply, transforming my perception of the world and my place within it.

From that moment on, I viewed life through a different lens. I understood that everything is interconnected, and this awareness reshaped how I responded to people, conflicts, and frustrations. Over the years, this insight has continued to grow and develop, guiding me in times of challenge and change.
