Digital Security, Privacy, and Crypto Currency

This class will focus on what privacy means, and the ways to maintain a more private digital footprint. We will talk about applications that can provide privacy, and help you figure out what level of privacy you want.  In addition, we will cover digital security, vectors of attack, and how to set yourself up to prevent hacks, and identity theft. 

 I will provide several links to applications to help secure your digital life to the level you feel comfortable with. Finally, we will cover Cryptocurrencies.  This is a natural progression from privacy and security. We will talk about what Crypto is, where it came from, why it came into being, and where it is heading. We will cover coins and their projects, research, wallets, exchanges, Defi, Cefi, purchasing and storing Crypto, and how to secure it once you have it.Since a lot of this class will be digital, feel free to bring your laptops to follow along.   I will have snacks, but feel free to bring anything you might want for lunch.
